How long is the cruise?
- The cruise lasts approximately 2 hours and is timed to coincide with Kauaʻi’s beautiful sunset.

Will I see the sunset?
- Weather permitting, you’ll enjoy a beautiful Kauaʻi sunset. Depending on the season, the sun sets beside the majestic Hāʻupu Mountain Range, creating spectacular colors across the valley and harbor.
Is there a restroom onboard?
- Yes. The catamaran is equipped with a restroom for guest convenience.
What happens if it rains?
- Light rain rarely affects our cruises. We only cancel if conditions are considered unsafe, such as: Flash flood warnings Gale or high wind conditions Unsafe ocean or harbor conditions If True Blue Inc. cancels the cruise due to unsafe weather, you will receive a full refund or may reschedule your reservation.
Can I walk to the catamaran if I’m staying at the Royal Sonesta?
- Although the harbor is only about a 5–10 minute drive away, we do not recommend walking. The route requires walking around the harbor and the cruise returns after sunset, making the walk longer, darker, and less convenient. We recommend using: Uber Taxi These are the easiest and safest ways to travel to and from the harbor.
Is transportation included?
- No. Transportation is not included, except when specifically arranged for private charters.
How do I board the catamaran?
- Boarding requires stepping up two standard steps and one step onto the vessel. During high tide, the step may be slightly higher. Our crew is always available to assist guests while boarding and disembarking.

- Individual reservations (1–5 guests): Cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled cruise for a full refund.
- Groups of 6 or more: Cancel at least 72 hours before your scheduled cruise for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours (or 72 hours for groups of 6 or more) will be charged 100% of the reservation price.
- Same-day cancellations, no-shows, and late arrivals that are unable to participate for any reason, including medical reasons, are charged 100%.
- Guests who miss their cruise due to a late arrival may reschedule one time only, on a standby basis and subject to availability.
- To cancel or modify your reservation, please call (808) 246-6333 during business hours. Voicemails or emails received after business hours are not accepted as cancellation notices.
Weather & Operator Cancellations
True Blue Inc. reserves the right to cancel a cruise due to unsafe weather, ocean conditions, operational reasons, or if the minimum number of participants is not met. If we cancel your cruise, you may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Third-Party Bookings
If you booked through Viator, GetYourGuide, Expedia, a hotel concierge, or another travel agency, all cancellations, changes, rescheduling, and refund requests must be made directly through your booking provider and are subject to their policies.
